We, humans of the Earth, have waken up to our fantastic cosmic history recounted to us by scientists. Precisely during the times of wonder brought by these discoveries, paradoxically, we also realize our biosphere’s extreme fragility. Among the 8,7 million living species identified, all the result of 4 billion years of evolution, we are today the only specie whose activities are a risk to our Life on Earth. These last decades, we have realized that we, humans, are the actors of our planet’s destiny.

This 13^th edition of the Atmospheres Festival will question, through cinema, art, science and public engagement, the paradox of an era of great scientifical and technological breakthroughs, confronted with new ecological and social requirements. The solutions exist. They allow us to fertilize our imaginations towards the emergence of new models: time to make our move!
